Elijah - Update 8: Debrief Blog 2

When it comes to lessons, one that stands out to me would be from one of our cooperatives named Morris. He was previously a youth leader at an organization outside of G.O.D. International. He was telling me about his calling and experience, as well as his lack of experience. He was telling me that he knew God was calling him into youth work, however he didn't know where to begin. He applied himself and his skills allowing God to shape him. He testified to G.O.D. International and how it is in an answer prayer to what he needed with respect to direction. What he was encouraging me in was my desire to serve and use the giftings I have, but also acknowledging my lack of direction at this time in my life. If I don't apply myself out of faith and allow God to guide me, then I fail to do my part when it comes to the acquisition of direction. Encouraged by all that he told me and I was/am connected to become someone who applies my giftings in faith without becoming shy.
