Malorye - Update 1: Lessons from Day 1

Yesterday underneath the gazebo, we had our first challenge: recreate the song that was playing on the speaker. I was really thankful for my team’s intentionality to create parts and assign a mix of people to those parts. Teams were made up of gifted singers and those who were non-musical (me). I thought that this was a very healthy picture of the way the body of Christ should function. I’m excited to take this lesson into the rest of the summer.
