Angel - Update 5: Missions & the Bible
Journal prompt: What role does the Bible play in missions?
A mission is a work or a task given to do and to be completed at a certain time. Mission can be vague but depending on what makes you go to that mission and what you have in your mind. Believers mostly go on mission to go for evangelization, serving like the communities in helping them to bring any of their needs near to them.
So the role that Bible plays in mission I think is when a person is going to mission with Jesus and aware and understand that what he will be doing is going to be rooted in God’s Word. A student of God’s Word I will say that without the Bible’s perspective there is no mission of God. If you want to go to mission with Jesus’ name on it or you want to serve God, learn God’s Word first and go.
God is good. He wants us to know Him before we serve Him. In Mission we do not just do, we learn and go and serve.
