Kampala Church Visit

Our Sunday morning at Katalasso Ministries was a really wonderful experience. Similar to Jesus’ teaching in Luke 4:32, Mr. Garner left the congregation astonished by the authority by which he spoke.

After being invited to speak for two hours, Mr. Garner took every moment. As usual, he articulated the Word in a way that pushed the listener out of their comfort zone. He made the Word applicable to their moment. It was special to be a part of this service because it was obvious that the congregation was impacted.

I think they are encouraged to have more conversations to let God into their every day life. Mr. Garner reminded them that THEY are God’s dwelling place. As God’s temple, he is concerned about building them. I was thankful to be there because the congregation was very energized b y what he had to share. I’m confident that they are still processing what it means for their church as they head into the future.
