Get to Know Moriah

A little bit about me:

Heyyy! My name is Moriah Faith Olson. I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. I am currently a senior high school student attending The Academy for GOD (a K-12 Private Christian School). I am a newly accepted student at the Institute for GOD, which I plan to attend Fall of 2024! I love volleyball, I love to dance, and I love to sing. I can not wait to go on Internship this summer! My excitement is through the roof! I would love your support in any way, whether through prayer, a donation, or prayer and a donation! Love you all!

How you can be praying for me: 

I would love prayer for a strong faith before, during, and after this trip. The Lord has emphasized that this trip is going to be one characterized by finding peace amid the unknown. In going on this trip, my faith needs to be strong and rooted in His truth so that I can give my all in every moment and return home with a greater understanding of God, this mission I am on, and this body that I am a part of.

My hope for this trip: 

My hope for this trip is that God uses me in all the ways He can. I want to serve with my everything during this trip. I want to be a light to my group and everyone I meet. My prayer is that my heart remains soft and my faith stays strong so that I can give my all.

Proverbs 16:9, "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps."

A fun fact about me:

Missions work has been a key part of my life since birth. I have been to the Philippines 3 times (2006, 2007, 2010) and I went to kindergarten there! I have been to El Salvador twice (2020, 2021). I can't wait to take my first trip to Africa!
