Malorye - Morristown Update

It’s funny to title this Morristown as our retreat was in Gatlinburg, or maybe it’s just funny to me (a knee slappin if you please). Anywho, our Morristown trip was a wonderful time. As a team, we all collectively worked together to create 7 presentations on the 7 foundational aspects of our church.

My group created a presentation on “Banqueting Table.”

The Morristown community attendees asked a lot of questions and were such a joy to get to know. At the end of our time together, testimonies were shared.

The testimonies were so fully of hope and thankfulness. Many people shared that they had felt so heavy coming into the weekend but left feeling so relieved. My favorite was when one of hte women there shared that she could now dream again.

I also loved getting to watch two of my closest friends who are from Morristown, engage with their family in a time of powerful worship. Me and many others prayed over them, for their future, and for thankfulness for their labor in their church.
