Ethan - Update 1: My Hopes for This Summer

My hope right now in this moment is I think primarily to develop my friendships with people. There was also something mentioned this morning by Steve that made me think. He prayed for us to become reliant on God. I’m not sure if I have ever depended on God. I also think I have never been in a position of need in life where I am depending on God to get me through. This is my hope for internship. I want to be humbled to a posture of true dependence. I want to gain favor with God. I want to develop the kind of relationship with God where we know each other so well and on such an intimate level that he wants to pull a ‘favor’ (like we talked about last night) for me. I also want to know what I don’t know.
