Journal prompt: Is empowerment easy? Why or why not?

It’s hard because you have to rework a person’s mind from what they were taught about themselves, and how a person’s economic status defines them, to one that shows their self-worth. It’s also difficult because it takes so much time. Empowerment is not something that happens overnight, but something that could take years to do.
