Journal prompt: What role does the Bible play in missions?

Being a disciple of Jesus requires you to go where he went and do what he did. Jesus was with the poor and the broken. He was always serving the least of these. He empowered communities, brought relational reconciliation, and taught the Word of God. If you aren’t in the Word and don’t know it, you have no direction to what it is that a mission requires. That’s why the Bible is essential to mission work.
