Journal prompt: What role does the Bible play in missions?

The Bible is the vision for how we do missions. It provides the guide for what we participate in, and the things we do. You really can’t do missions without the Bible. Neither can you live out the Bible without doing missions. They work hand in hand.

For the SLAM weeks that we have put on, we have done so much work with the widows in the areas we have been in. In James it talks about pure and undefiled religion is visiting the orphan and the widow. In this way the Bible provides a lens for how we go about doing missions.
