What is your favorite Scripture, and why? 

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

James 1:2-4 ESV

This year as a family we all chose themes to work on and mine is “positivity.” My tendency in life is to consider things as “ok” and I am willing to muddle through the challenges in life that I encounter. That is not good enough and limits the work of God in my life. This verse reminds me that there are daily choices we make that impact how we live. If I deny that, I am denying God’s development of me and His work in the circumstance.

If you were a superhero what would your power be? 

I would be able to play all (or any) instruments without needing to practice.
