Malorye - Reflections on Morristown Retreat

It’s funny to title this Morristown as our retreat was in Gatlinburg, or maybe it’s just funny to me (a knee slapping if you please). Anywho, our Morristown trip was a wonderful time. As a team, we are collectively working together to create 7 presentations on the 7 foundational aspects of our church. My group created a presentation on “Banqueting Table”.

The Morristown community members asked a lot of questions and were such a joy to get to know. At the end of our time together testimonies were shared. The testimonies were so full of hope and thankfulness. Many people shared that they had felt so heavy coming into the weekend but left feeling so relieved. My favorite part was when one of the women there shared that she felt she could now dream again. I also loved getting to watch tow of my closest friends who are from Morrisown engage with their family in a time of powerful worship. Me and many others prayed over them, for their future in our ministry, and our thankfulness for them.
