Bible Teachings

Throughout my time in Uganda, I have learned so many new things from the Bible teachings that Mr. Garner has shared with us. I think that a lot of the things I have learned are very practical when it comes to living out our lives for Christ.

A big thing he taught us that I want to remember is when we read and study the Bible we shouldn’t look at it through the lens of religion. There are many things that a lot of Christians believe that are not written in the Bible, yet there are some major doctrinal statements that we automatically take as true.

Reading the Bible for what it actually is and reading it without a tinted lens will help us more fully see and understand what God has in store for us and the course of our lives.
