Elijah - Update 4: Renewed Calling in East Africa

This past week in Africa has been like no other. God has shown me how impactful and important this work is in the developing world. Through conversations with our cooperatives, I can see how much they hunger for and cling onto God’s word. I've been incredibly thankful for their diligence to learn it. In addition, l've been able to see how much God's word can change a situation and group of people. l've been able to have powerful conversations with a pastor named Jeremiah and one named Raphael. They shared with me the darkness in their past and how they have watched godless people suffer. Their own communities were consumed with darkness but what made the difference to them was the light and guidance they found in the word of God. l've also seen my own desire to serve these people and study the word increase so heavily. God has reminded me of my calling and has shown me how much change can come when a Biblically literate individual chooses to bring themselves before God as a sacrifice to serve those who desperately need it.
