River - Update 8: Debrief Blog 2

An experience that has changed my life forever from this trip has to be our team's time in a village in Eastern Uganda. The time there wasn’t long, but the entire team was incredibly intentional with the time we had, and the work paid off. Our team split into groups and divided into groups and facilitated a SLAM day for the local youth. We were coordinated and completely unified by our shared goal of presenting those kids with an experience that could mold the direction of their lives. I am still processing that day as well as the rest of our time in that village, but I think our team will agree with me when I say I am completely changed in the way I see ministry and the impact that it has.
