Journal Prompt:

What have you learned about the value of hospitality from being in people’s homes this week?

I have been learning how important it is to honor our host. We have to take time while eating with them to share scripture and testimonies. I have learned how counter cultural it is when we are hosted to accept and eat and drink what we are given, as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 10. Our culture would say, “I’m good” and not proceed to eat, but we are to eat gladly and appreciate their service.
