Journal Prompt: What is one major lesson or thing that God is teaching you so far this week? How have you found yourself tested, and what has your response been like? Can you connect that to the Bible Studies we’ve been having?

My Thoughts

One major lesson that God has been teaching me this week is the importance of turning to him when I find myself in a time of being pressed. I’ve been tested this week by stomach issues, emotional blockages, bouts of frustration, and just general fatigue/wanting to have a bad attitude. I’ve been challenged in discovering things that I need to heal from. I’ve been tested in how much I really trust the Lord. In all of these things, my response has been to pray and God has met me every time. I’ve asked him for help. I think that connects most to the passages we’ve been studying that show God as our father. He truly has been taking care of me, and all of my teammates. Even getting to see that side of Him helps me to understand my expectation as a daughter made in his image.
