Lessons in Teamwork

Opportunities to learn about one another and develop team dynamic are integral to the beginning days of summer internship and come in a variety of ways including sports.

My Thoughts

I learned that I do not have a strong perseverance when it comes to attention. It is harder for me on a team if I feel that I’m not playing a needed part (even if it’s just how I feel) or underestimated by my team members. 

I realize I need to stay focused and not discount myself. When I was one of the last five picked for teams it made me feel sad. Only because I know that I’m not terrible at volleyball. I can play it. Thankfully, I got the chance to prove it on the court.
