What skills or gifts do you have to offer on this Internship? 

Chris: I hope to continue my role as Chaplain of the Institute on this Internship.

Anna: I love to pray, help meet practical needs and really love working in maternal health and wellness.

How can people be praying for you? 

We will have just gotten married. We would love prayer for our marriage and in how we are able to serve the Institute students together as a couple. Anna would also like prayer that her eyes are open to what the Lord wants her to see on this trip and that her heart is soft.

What is your favorite Scripture, and why? 

Chris: 1 Thes 5:16-18. Years ago when I was overcome by depression these verses gave me a small blueprint for how to heal and trust the Lord in a dark time. Today they help me continue in a mindset that allows me to trust God and acknowledge him as I follow his voice.

Anna: Romans 12:1-2 I love the collective call to brothers and sisters together, to give themselves to the Lord, and the renewal of mind that leads to an understanding of God’s will that is so good for us!

If you were a superhero what would your power be? 

Chris: It's probably a terrible name, but I would be Sugar Man. I'd only eat things like cake, icecream and candy. But they would be as good to my body as kale or spinach.

Anna: I would probably be like Elastigirl
