Announcing the 2024 GOD Summer Internship: Go on Mission with Jesus
We're excited to announce the 21st GOD Summer Internship, taking place from June 12 to July 19, 2024. This program is a unique opportunity for young individuals passionate about deepening their faith and engaging in community service.
Boot Camp is the training portion of internship, helping the team build their dynamic and prepare physically and spiritually for cross-cultural ministry.
Boot Camp Training in Nashville: A Strong Start
The GOD Summer Internship begins with a week-long Boot Camp in Nashville. This initial phase of the program focuses on preparing participants for the varied and impactful activities that follow. It's a time for learning, bonding with fellow interns, and laying the groundwork for future service projects.
The Nashville portion of Summer Internship includes facilitating a youth service week for participants with Students Living A Mission (SLAM), among some of Nashville’s diverse and underprivileged communities.
Youth Ministry with SLAM in Nashville
Teaming up with Students Living A Mission (SLAM), interns will be involved in a youth ministry program in Nashville. This experience allows interns to impact the lives of teenagers, helping them explore and grow in their faith and personal lives.
The Community Church for GOD has a partner church in Morristown, TN. There, interns will engage their cross cultural skills by ministering to largely hispanic population.
Service in Morristown, TN: Engaging with Diverse Communities
The internship continues with a project in Morristown, Tennessee, where interns will serve in a Hispanic immigrant community. This part of the program provides a valuable experience in understanding and contributing to a culturally diverse setting.
Then onto East Africa where interns serve in schools, prisons, churches and minister to widows and orphans. Interns get a wide variety of service opportunities as they explore their calling in missions.
East Africa Mission Trip: Broadening Horizons
The final installment of the GOD Summer Internship is the mission experience to East Africa. This experience is more than a cross-cultural experience. It allows interns to participate in meaningful activities in fields like education, health care, and community development, providing a global perspective on service and ministry.
Limited Spots for a Select Group
In its 21st year, the GOD Summer Internship is open to only 24 participants. This select group will consist of individuals aged 17-27 who are eager to explore their faith in a practical, service-driven context.

Special Pricing for Early Registration
Participants who sign up before December 31st can join the program for $5950. After this date, the registration fee will be $6450, plus deposits. We encourage early registration to take advantage of this special rate.
